Advisors Who Put Fiduciary Discipline First

Our team combines backgrounds in Romanian and EU financial regulation, actuarial risk, corporate law, and private wealth management.

Experience Earned in Complex Situations

The advisors at Workshop Group did not come from product-sales environments. They came from regulatory bodies, institutional asset managers, insurance actuarial teams, and cross-border legal practices. That background shapes how we advise: we are sceptical of complexity for its own sake, meticulous about documentation, and direct about the limitations of any given structure. In a field where conflicts of interest are endemic, we operate on a fee-only basis — we receive no commissions from insurers, custodians, or fund managers. What you see is what we recommend because it protects your capital, not our revenue.

The Workshop Group Advisory Team

A small, senior team — every engagement is led by a principal, not delegated to a junior analyst.

A Fee-Only Model, By Design

Conflicts of interest are the silent enemy of sound capital protection advice. When an advisor earns a commission on the insurance policy or holding structure they recommend, the recommendation is tainted — even if the advisor means well. Workshop Group charges a flat engagement fee, agreed in writing before any work begins. We receive no trail commissions, no referral fees, and no retrocessions from any product provider. This model is deliberately less commercially convenient for us, and definitively better for you. Our clients value that clarity as much as the structures themselves.

“I had spoken with two larger advisory firms before Workshop Group. Both presentations felt like product catalogues. Mihai's first call was entirely about my situation — he had clearly read the background I sent and had real questions, not scripts. That intellectual seriousness is what made me engage them.”
